Chuck & Jimmy's 2011 Charity Tour

 

This 22 state in 23 day motorcycle ride covers 9000 miles of beautiful country in the continental United States. As of this year, Chuck & Jimmy will have touched all 48 continental states over a 3 trip tour. We love our country and our city and we are proud to represent the following charities in this years ride & scavenger hunt. Delray Beach Education Foundation- this branch of the Delray Beach Chamber provides direct financial aid to the schools in Delray Beach. In May of 2011 alone they awarded six $5000 grants to various schools in Delray Beach. They are growing with their March to a Million endowments which will secure much needed funding to our schools. Delray Citizens for Delray Police- this local non-profit provides financial and moral support to Delray Beach Police and their families. As host of the annual Police Awards Banquet and Tri City Police Challenge, along with other fundraisers and benefactors, they are able to provide funds for equipment which may otherwise not be available.

The Achievement Center for Children & Families- this local 40 years old non profit that started in the back of a church with 6 children now services over 700 kids and 150 adults every day. Its mission is to provide comprehensive services to educate, train and support at-risk children, youth and families, ensuring school readiness, skill building opportunities, higher academic achievement, improved quality of family function, healthier lifestyles and an increased sense of community life through self-determining activities. Prep & Sports- the mission of this local non profit is to focus on at risk youth through programs that provide academic and athletic mentorships, training, and guidance. In 2011 all 18 program graduates received athletic or academic college scholarships. Visit Prep & Sports

CJ Foundation- With a special emphasis on Autism, Cancer and Education, the CJ Foundation uses the resources generated through events, corporate alliances and contributions, as well as private donations to directly impact our causes. Based in South Florida, but with global aspirations, the foundation hopes to expand our scope of giving each year and grow the world of good wherever it is needed. It is our goal to develop and nurture partnerships with our causes, contributors, volunteers, and communities to ensure every dollar we raise makes a difference in the lives of those we touch.
